The Peace Piano: This one-of-a-kind was created in 2003 in conjunction with U.N.I.C.E.F.  It has traveled all over the world and is on display here at Hammell Music for a very limited time. The finish is hard rock maple, which is the traditional wood used in the case construction of all fine Steinway pianos.  The dove and olive branch symbols on the legs represent peace and unity, and the flag of every established nation is recognized on the rim and fallboard.
