Interlochen Center for the Arts, Interlochen Michigan,
Organ Rebuilding / Enlargement Project at the factory
Here are some pictures of the Interlochen organ as it is being re-built and expanded in the Reuter factory in Lawernce, Kansas.  Reuter has
designed a completely new facade, featuring flamed copper pipes.  In some of the pictures you can see the colorful pipes, including the row
of "sweeping" length feet that will give the facade it's new look.

Some of the other pictures of pipes being soldered together you will see different pastel colors.  This indicates the gauge or thickness of
the metal.  The pastel color is washed off after the pipe is made.

Reuter makes all of their components, including keyboards, console, chests, regulators, pipes, etc.  As you can see, everything is first class.

The organ will be set up in the erecting room (45' ceiling) and played.  Then it will be labeled, taken apart, and carefully packed for
shippment back to Interlochen.
