performance from Oakland University in Rochester,
Michigan. His instructor through both B.A. and M.A.
degrees was international concert artist Flavio
Varani. His B.A. was with academic honors, and a full
scholarship for his senior year from the Michigan
Foundation for the Arts. A graduate
assistantship/scholarship was also awarded to Peter
for part of his Masters degree work.
With 25 years of teaching experience in our area,
Peter is also currently the President of the local
chapter of the National Guild of Piano Teachers.
Peter is also a member of the American Guild of
Organists, and has been a church music director for
various denominations for the past 15 years. Over
the years, he has performed for numerous grand
openings and parties, as well as political and
charitable fund raisers.
Having such a varied background, Peter enjoys
teaching virtually all styles of music including
classical, jazz, pop, boogie-woogie and music for all
types of liturgical use.
